 Consider these points for successful project management
Create clear governance rules on the organisation and structure of partnerships
Define a long-term mission and vision for the project
Write a project plan
Carry out a SWOTand link this to the project plan
Decide on a target audience [link to glossary]for the project
Agree on specific aims and SMART objectives for the project
Agree on strategies to deliver the aims and objectives
Agree on the practical steps and tactics which will deliver the finished project
Give responsibility for each work area to a member of staff
Ensure the team works effectively
Monitor and evaluate your progress at each stage of the project
Feed the results of the monitoring and evaluation into this and future work plans
